The 2^nd annual General Digital Meeting of the Region II Presidents of the International Union of Architects (UIA RII) was organized on Wednesday 12 May 2021.

The 7- hour digital meeting  was hosted and  held under the auspices of  Greek Engineers and Public Works Contractors Fund (TMEDE) and its President Konstantinos Makedos, with the support of TCG and its  President George Stasinos and took place on the initiative of the Vice President of UIA RII, Architect Nikos Fintikakis and the President of the Greek Section of UIA Professor Fani Vavili-Tsinika.

During the fruitful and long meetings, the participants discussed, among other topics, the future strategies for the recovery and support of the Region II from the consequences of the successive waves of the pandemic of CoVid-19 disease, while the coming elections of UIA and the candidates interventions and presentations were of great importance and priority .

The event was attended by all the Vice-Presidents of all UIA Regions, the Presidents of all Regional Organizations, important scientists and personalities of the Technical World, as well as several Past Presidents of the Union.

It is pointed out that the 3rd Region II digital meeting before the big Congress  in Rio, in July 2021, will take place on 28 June 2021 at 14:00 p.m.Athens time including free democratic dialogues, discussions, debates and several other very important issues of our Region.
