Guy Selbherr is member of the board of the guarantee bank of the federal state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, B\u00fcrgschaftsbank Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg GmbH and\u00a0CEO of the SME-oriented investment company MBG Mittelst\u00e4ndische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg GmbH.<\/p>\n

Guy was born in 1965. He trained as lending officer at a co-operative bank. Later he studied business and administration. In 1992 he started working at the guarantee bank of the federal state of Baden- Wuerttemberg, the B\u00fcrgschaftsbank Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg. He then became executive assistant.<\/p>\n

In 2004 he was elected member of the board of directors. At the same time, he became CEO of the SME-oriented investment company MBG Mittelst\u00e4ndische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg. In June 2014 he was elected President of the association of German guarantee banks VDB, Verband Deutscher B\u00fcrgschaftsbanken, in Berlin, mandate that has been renewed in 2017.<\/p>\n<\/div>
